To help me get a better sense of the location, I drew a quick sketch to highlight efficient and useful pathways in which people can take. The overarching idea for this design is an elevated architecture school that is integrated with a multi-use, green walkway stretched along Anzac Parade.

ARTICLE TITLE: NO MORE STATIC: THE MOVING ARCHITECTURE OF KWK PROMES

Theory:
The element of movement shifts the focus to a more user-centric architecture. This adaptability allows users to take more control of the environment they inhabit. Therefore, creating a dialogue between user, structure, and site; further, integrating the building with its surroundings.

36 Words and Textures: Above Between Below "Light" The texture I chose to implement in the floating structure was "Light", as I thought that it was fitting with the client's theme of lightness, airiness and delicateness. I applied the texture on the display podiums as an accent to all the glass that was being used.  "Structural" The second texture I chose to implement in my design was for the word: "Structural", in which I applied to the columns which hold the "floating" studio above. "Futuristic" I applied this futuristic texture onto the glass roof of the vehicle display as I felt like it was fitting with the style of the client's cyber-like, tech-theme.

The Stair Below

Stair Below Sketches: The design for this staircase is focused around the unique display case that sits underground. Although the client(The Khyza), is not particularly a car designer, I would like to think that he may enjoy collecting or customizing cars in addition to his digital work. Therefore, I created a stair that would be a transition point between ground and underground, in which people can appreciate the works/vehicles in 360 degrees.  I deliberately made the landings of the stair exponentially bigger than the staircase themselves as it makes the trip feel more like a visual journey.
